Tânia Cruz

Graduation in Biology by Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias, Lisbon, 2004. Started her career in Immuno-parasitology as an undergraduate research student at the Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência. In 2012 finished a PhD in Biomedical Sciences at the Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar. Currently develops her work in the Molecular Parasitology group at the Instituto de Biologia Molecular e Celular, Porto. During the professional career obtained experience in teaching, in the supervision of undergraduate students, in science communication specifically with high-school students and acquired a CCP (Certificado de Competências Pedagógicas) degree from the World Project Management. In the area of non-conventional medicines has the Reiki Usui Shiki Ryoho – Shoden level I and is currently a student of the Shiatsu class at the Instituto Português de Naturologia, Porto.
